Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pizza Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the cradle-to-grave creation of authentic pizza, including the making of dough. Possessing a keen understanding of culinary techniques and food safety standards. As a PIzza Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes that delight our guests while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.

Duties

- Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Monitor food inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to continually enhance the dining experience.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dishes that showcase culinary creativity.
