Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends. Provide leadership in the kitchen, motivating staff to achieve high levels of performance. Assist in serving meals during peak service times as needed.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques. Experience in supervising and managing kitchen teams effectively. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. A passion for cooking and creating innovative dishes that delight guests. Previous experience in high-pressure environments is advantageous.
