We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring high standards of food safety, and managing kitchen operations efficiently. This role requires excellent team management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities



Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Manage food production processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared on time and to specification. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to strict food safety regulations. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Develop new menu items based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary arts. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse kitchen team. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food production. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Creative mindset with a passion for developing new dishes and enhancing existing recipes. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 45 per week
