Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Develop and design innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining quality standards. Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure the kitchen is well-stocked with necessary ingredients. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to enhance their skills and promote teamwork. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Monitor food production processes to ensure consistency in taste and presentation. Handle any customer feedback or complaints professionally and promptly.

Skills

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Creative flair for menu development and presentation of dishes. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Passion for delivering high-quality cuisine and exceptional guest experiences.
