Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's menu and standards. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food preparation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. MAINLY ITALIAN FOOD FRESH PIZZAS PASTA DISHES MEAT AND FISH Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative recipes. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction. Handle any customer feedback or complaints regarding food quality or service.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary best practices. Familiarity with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 12.21-18.23 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
