Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and Experienced Agency School Chef to join our culinary schools across Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, along with excellent leadership abilities to manage kitchen operations. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional dining experiences while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth workflow. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Skills

Proficient in food preparation techniques with a strong understanding of culinary principles. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. Knowledge of food production processes and kitchen management best practices. Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with team members and management. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests.
