We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team at Brocco on the Park. We have an excellent standard for food, and we were listed in the Michelin Guide in 2022. We are a 5AA rated restaurant with rooms, and recipient of the AA Dinner Award 2025.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and culinary arts, with a keen understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and innovative dishes while supervising kitchen staff to ensure a high standard of food quality and service. This role requires excellent team management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the menu and customer preferences.
Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring that dishes are prepared in a timely manner.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and hygiene practices in the kitchen.
Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock for food preparation.
Ensure that the kitchen is clean, organised, and well-maintained at all times.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food production processes and culinary techniques.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
Creative flair for cooking with an eye for presentation and detail.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
