Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production within the kitchen. Develop and create innovative menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste. Manage kitchen staff effectively, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Assist in maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary arts, and food safety practices. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead kitchen staff. Creativity in menu development and presentation of dishes. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and service teams. A passion for cooking and an eagerness to help others learn within the culinary field.

Pay: 11.44-14.78 per hour
