Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth workflow Manage inventory and ordering of supplies to maintain stock levels Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery Develop new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques and presentation standards

Requirements

Proven experience in a Chef role within a restaurant or similar hospitality environment Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques Supervising experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment Strong leadership qualities, fostering a positive team atmosphere Previous experience in food production, preferably within various cuisines A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
