We are seeking a talented and passionate Hungarian speaking Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for food and good knowledge of traditional Hungarian cooking methods. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes, managing kitchen operations, and leading a team of kitchen staff to deliver outstanding dining experiences.
Duties
Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards.
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
Assist in menu planning, including the development of new recipes and seasonal offerings.
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and minimising waste to ensure cost-effective operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
Skills
Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team.
In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing restaurant operations is advantageous.
