We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of hospitality and culinary arts. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your creativity and expertise in food preparation and production will play a vital role in our restaurant's success.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation and high-quality food production. Develop and execute innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Monitor kitchen performance, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and quality.

Skills



Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen teams. Strong background in hospitality with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. Extensive culinary knowledge with proficiency in various cooking techniques. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Creativity in menu development and presentation of dishes. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and front-of-house staff.

40 Hours per week (4days) including alternate weekends .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.75-13.10 per hour
