Duties
Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting guest preferences.
Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality food service.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with the hospitality team to create memorable dining experiences for guests.
Assist in training new kitchen staff on culinary techniques and safety protocols.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Ensure the kitchen is well-organised, clean, and equipped for optimal performance.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef.
The candidate must be able to cook steak to a high standard and have a clear understanding of how to prepare it at different levels.
Strong knowledge of food preparation technique.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
