Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation processes.
Develop and design menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff to enhance their skills and ensure a cohesive team environment.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
Assist in the creation of special events or catering menus as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into the kitchen.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong knowledge of food production techniques, food preparation methods, and food safety standards.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Creativity in menu design and presentation, with an eye for detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.
