Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish served. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and teamwork. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and new dish development. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Skills

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting. Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques and presentation. Excellent supervisory abilities with experience in team management. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, fostering a collaborative atmosphere within the kitchen team.
