Breakthrough Bars Group is seeking passionate, reliable, and skilled Chef to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the team, you'll be responsible for delivering consistently high-quality dishes while ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.
This is a hands-on role that involves everything from food preparation and cooking to planning, stock management, and maintaining the highest hygiene standards. We value creativity, consistency, and a strong work ethic - and we're looking for someone who takes pride in their craft.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and present dishes to company specifications, maintaining high standards of taste, quality, and appearance
Support kitchen setup and ensure readiness for each service period
Work closely with the FOH team to coordinate orders and maintain smooth service flow
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, and allergen policies at all times
Assist in stock control, ordering, and inventory checks as required
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen workspace
Handle equipment and ingredients responsibly and sustainably
Take initiative and respond to reasonable requests from management
Foster a positive, respectful, and supportive team environment
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of professional kitchen experience
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Excellent time management and communication skills
A keen eye for detail and commitment to consistency
Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn
Food hygiene certification (Level 2 or above) is desirable
