Job Description

We are looking an experienced and passionate chef with a flair for crafting exceptional food. Situated in a new city centre kitchen and bar, we're an established North East pizza brand with a history of pop-ups across the region. Our focus is on delicious, high-quality pizza and exciting side plates, using fresh ingredients across the menu.

What we're looking for:

Proven experience in a senior kitchen management role. Expertise in pizza/bread making A creative mind for developing menu items that complement our main offering. Strong leadership skills to inspire and manage a dedicated kitchen team. The ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety. A passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences through your food. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Responsibilities

Supervise kitchen staff and assist in their training and development. Oversee food preparation and production to ensure consistency and quality. Create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during meal periods. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Creativity in food presentation and menu design is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work weekends and evenings. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams. A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering a high-quality product.
