Duties

Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and preparation. Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain stock. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen in compliance with health and safety regulations. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering their culinary skills and knowledge. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Assist in cost control measures while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen teams. Comprehensive knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Passion for cooking with an eye for detail in food presentation. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. A relevant culinary qualification is desirable but not essential.
