Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure the smooth running of food production. Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with menu specifications. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient teamwork. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with management on menu planning and development of new recipes. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols. Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and served promptly.

Skills

Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Excellent leadership abilities to inspire and motivate kitchen staff. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
