Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and production, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety standards. As a Chef, you will lead the kitchen staff, ensuring the highest quality of dishes is produced while maintaining an efficient and organised kitchen environment.

Duties



Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient food production. Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and standards. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective teamwork. Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent customer service.

Experience



Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar culinary environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Experience in food production and preparation techniques. Culinary qualifications or certifications are an advantage but not essential. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.50-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 45 per week
