We are excited to welcome a passionate and experienced Chef to our friendly Catering team on a temporary basis.

Hours of work are;



6.30am to 2.00pm Monday to Thursday, 28 hours per week.

The Role





To assist the Catering Manager with the preparation, cooking and presentation of all food, to consistently good standards

Main Duties for this role include





Assists in the preparation, cooking and presentation of food for sale in canteen and Starbucks.


Ensures that food is prepared and served in accordance with Food Hygiene Procedures.


Ensures that work area is maintained in a clean and hygienic state at all times.


Adheres to the Hygiene, Health and Safety policies.


As and when required by Catering Manager, carry out additional tasks concerned with the operation of the food service to students, staff and others.


Assists in the preparation and serving of food for special functions and events as required.


Demonstrates good standards of customer service.


Provides food services to students, staff and others.
