Job Description

We are looking for a chef to join our friendly team to work within a fast-paced busy environment ensuring a high standard of food is successful and service is efficient at all times.

Daytime straight shifts

generally from 8.00am - 4.00/4.30pm, on some occasions there may be a need to work later for ad-hoc events.

The Role:

We have an amazing opportunity for a Chef to join us at our High Lodge Cafe, located in Thetford Forest! Working as part of an enthusiastic team who run the cafe, alongside our current Chef. The main duties to include:

Daily you will organise and control the busy catering operation ensuring a successful and efficient service is provided You will prepare, and present food to the highest quality You will work with the manager on ordering of stock Serve hot and cold food to the visiting customers Identifying customer requirements with allergies Ensure all legislation and procedures are adhered to Kitchen duties to include washing dishes and cleaning

What exactly are we looking for?

2 + years experience in a busy kitchen environment required. An enthusiastic and friendly individual who enjoys working as part of a team Excellent people skills with the team and customers A willingness to learn new skills A passion for catering in a busy environment 5 out of 7 days to include weekends, bank holidays and school holidays as these are our peak periods

Pay: 30,000.00-31,000.00 per year
