Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food safety and food preparation techniques. As a Chef, you will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food production, and creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and presentation. Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations. Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Participate in the planning of special events and catering services as required.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive working environment. Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines, with a passion for culinary arts. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure. A creative mindset with an eye for detail in presentation and flavour combinations.

Pay: 12.50-13.50 per hour
