Duties
Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production, ensuring quality and presentation meet our high standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Assist in the planning of special events or catering services as required.
Experience
Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team effectively.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
A passion for culinary arts and creativity in menu development is highly desirable.
Previous experience in supervising kitchen operations will be an advantage.
