Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Supervise and train kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences.
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate food service and ensure an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Monitor food presentation and portion control to maintain consistency across all dishes served.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising kitchen staff.
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Culinary qualifications or certifications are highly desirable.
Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
