Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, strong knowledge of nutrition, and the ability to deliver high-quality meals that meet a variety of dietary needs. Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present meals to a high standard, ensuring quality, variety, and nutritional balance. Develop and adapt menus to meet residents' dietary requirements, including allergies, intolerances, and special diets. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen in line with food safety and hygiene regulations. Monitor stock levels, place orders, and ensure efficient use of resources. Comply with health and safety procedures and maintain all required records. Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure a positive dining experience for all service users.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef, ideally in healthcare or hospitality settings. Excellent cooking skills with knowledge of various techniques and cuisines. Knowledge of nutrition and menu planning for special dietary requirements.

Food Hygiene Certificate - Level 2

(willing to work towards Intermediate).

First Aid Certification.

NVQ Level 2/3 in Food Preparation/Catering.

Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
