, where we pride ourselves on delivering warm hospitality and quality food to our guests. We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Chef to prepare breakfast and evening meals as part of our in-house service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and service
Ensure that all dishes are prepared to a high standard and presented in an appealing manner
Train, supervise, and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling, performance management, and development
Maintain accurate records and ensure all practices comply with health and safety policies.
Work with the Hotel Manager to control food costs and improve profitability of the kitchen
Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house, to ensure that customers have a positive dining experience
Working efficiently under pressure during busy service hours.
Responsible for ordering stock based on kitchen needs and ensuring proper inventory management
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef in a hotel/pub environment
Minimum of food safety level 2
Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work well under pressure and lead others
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food handling procedures
Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
