Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our team.

This is a great opportunity to join a skilled team in a increasingly busy pub restaurant that prides itself on its carvery and a la carte style cuisine.

You must be passionate about working with food and ideas for new dishes to help design our seasonally changing menus and specials and be confident and willing to learn in all areas to support the kitchen and the team.

You will also be confident in all aspects of food preparation and service, demonstrating experience/qualifications in a similar environment to a high standard and be willing to be part of a team to strive for the same high standards.

You will have awareness of all relevant health & safety legislation, and ensuring compliance within the law in all areas of food hygiene management and allergen information and requirements.

You must be able to be flexible and available to work weekends.

The pub is conveniently located on the No 1 bus route, stopping on the door step and a 2 minute walk from Midgham train station, which is on the Reading to Newbury line, so is very easy to get to. If driving, there is a large car park available for parking.

Pay: From 14.00 per hour
