Duties
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste through effective food production practices.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to optimise kitchen efficiency.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting, with strong culinary skills.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation.
Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervising staff.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for cooking, creativity in menu design, and attention to detail in food presentation.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
