Duties
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the restaurant's menu and standards.
Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety protocols.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety practices, and restaurant policies.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Help create a positive working environment that fosters teamwork and creativity within the kitchen.
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
