Oscars Wine Bar is an independent family business which has been operating for over 25 years.
We require either a full or part time chef to join our team. You should have a can do attitude and be able to work within EHO guidelines. Good presentation skills are important also. We work with only the best ingredients and all dishes are made on site.
Responsibilities
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure high-quality dishes are served.
Maintain food safety standards and cleanliness in the kitchen.
Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing training and supervision as needed.
Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and presentation.
Ensure timely and efficient food production while adhering to restaurant standards.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and hospitality.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen environment
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food safety and hygiene
Leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen staff
Background in hospitality and team management
Excellent presentation skills to ensure visually appealing dishes
Relevant experience in restaurant settings and serving customers
