We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our small dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a genuine love for food preparation. As a Chef, you will play a key role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. This position requires creativity, leadership, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to our menu specifications. Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends. Manage inventory levels, ensuring that all necessary ingredients are available for daily operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Monitor portion control and minimise waste to maintain cost efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Passion for cooking and creating innovative dishes that delight guests. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required. The ability to work well in a solo environment when required.
