Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Practitioner to join our small friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children (particularly those aged 2-4 years) and possess the necessary skills to provide exceptional care in a nurturing and structured mixed aged setting.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in a Preschool. Develop and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood education and development. Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and well-being. Ensure the safety and hygiene of the nursery environment at all times. Collaborate with team members to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for all children. Manage daily routines, including meal times, toileting/nappies, playtime, and rest periods.
Experience
Previous experience in childcare or nursery settings is essential. A strong knowledge of Safeguarding and it role in early years. Knowledge of the Early Years Founation Stage and child development. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Must be computer literate and knowledge of Tapestry would be desirable. Good at working within a small team.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
