Building on our strong foundation of compassionate and tailored care, we are now expanding our services with the opening of our very first Children's Residential Home. Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Children's Home Manager to take the lead in opening and running this new home. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role from the ground up - shaping the culture, leading the team, and ensuring the delivery of outstanding care in line with Ofsted regulations. Your leadership will be central to building a home where children feel safe, supported, and valued.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the new children's home. Support with the setup and registration process, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted and regulatory requirements. Develop and implement individualized care plans that put children at the heart of decision-making. Recruit, supervise, and develop a strong and motivated staff team. Create a positive and nurturing environment that promotes children's safety, growth, and independence. Work in partnership with external agencies, professionals, and stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for children. Drive continuous improvement, maintaining high standards of care and safeguarding. Provide training, guidance, and professional development opportunities for staff.

Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in a management role within children's residential services. Strong knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and relevant legislation. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards). Experience of successfully managing an Ofsted-regulated home is highly desirable. A passion for creating safe, supportive, and nurturing environments for children.
