We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, including experience in assisted living and nursing home environments. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care for residents, particularly those with dementia and Alzheimer's. The Home Manager will be responsible for ensuring that care plans are effectively implemented and that all staff members are supported in delivering the best possible service.
Duties
Oversee the daily management of the care home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of care.
Develop and implement individualised care plans for residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences.
Supervise and support staff members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional development.
Conduct regular assessments of residents' health and wellbeing, adjusting care plans as necessary.
Manage medication administration processes to ensure safety and compliance with best practices.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care for residents.
Maintain accurate records of resident care, staff performance, and facility operations.
Lead training sessions for staff on best practices in senior care, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
Experience
Proven experience in a children's home setting.
At least 2 years of experience
in management and leadership in previous Children's Home Setting.
Demonstrated experience in developing care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
Knowledge of medication administration protocols is required.
Familiarity with Ofsted Regulations, and Registration process.
