to launch abrand-new, 2-bedded therapeutic children's home
inHuddersfield
for young people with learning disabilities (LD).This is a unique chance to build an exceptional service from scratch, creating a supportive environment where both young people and staff can truly thrive.
Your Mission
As our Registered Manager, you'll be key in taking this exciting project from the start through
Ofsted registration
and beyond. Your main goal will be to establish a high-quality residential home focused on therapeutic LD care.Key Responsibilities:
Launch & Register:
Lead setting up and Ofsted registration for our new LD children's home.Develop Care Plans:
Create tailored, therapeutic care plans for young people with LD.Build & Lead Team:
Recruit, train, and mentor a skilled and compassionate team.Ensure Compliance:
Meet all Ofsted regulations and best practices in LD care.Manage Operations:
Handle budgets, operations, and referrals effectively.Build Relationships:
Foster strong ties with local authorities, families, and other professionals.What You'll Bring
Qualification:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
(or equivalent).Experience:
Proven success as aDeputy or Registered Manager
in children's residential settings, with strong LD and therapeutic experience.Driving:
Avalid UK Driving Licence
