Kennores Supported Living is expanding into children's residential care, and we're searching for an experienced, passionate, and ambitious Registered Manager to lead our brand-new 3-bed EBD home.

The Role:
As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the home's operations, development, and regulatory compliance. Your focus will be to ensure that every young person in your care receives outstanding support, guidance, and opportunities to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Register the home with Ofsted and lead all inspections
Recruit, build, and manage a high-performing team from scratch
Ensure a nurturing, therapeutic, and child-centred approach in all aspects of care
Promote positive outcomes and implement individualised care plans, reviewing them regularly
Lead on safeguarding, quality assurance, and risk management
Build strong relationships with local authorities, schools, health services, and families
Drive the service towards achieving 'Good' or 'Outstanding' Ofsted ratings
Requirements:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Minimum 2 years' experience in a management or deputy management role within a children's residential setting
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and behaviour management strategies
Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
A passion for improving the lives of vulnerable young people
