Children's Home Manager
to lead 2 solo, EBD residential services in
Preston
, creating a positive, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where young people can truly thrive.
This is a key leadership role where you will inspire your team to provide exceptional, person-centered support and ensure the absolute highest standards of care.
Your Core Responsibilities
Lead Therapeutic Care:
Develop and implement individual care plans, focusing on the emotional, social, and behavioral needs of the young people in our care.
Build and Mentor a Team:
Guide, train, and develop staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous professional development.
Operational & Financial Oversight:
Oversee the home's budget and resources to effectively support our therapeutic model of care.
Ensure Quality:
Maintain accurate records and ensure full compliance with
Ofsted
regulations, National Minimum Standards, and best practices.
What You'll Bring
Qualification:
A
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
(or equivalent) is essential.
Experience:
Proven experience as a
Deputy Manager or Registered Manager
in a children's home setting, with a strong understanding of therapeutic approaches.
Driving:
A valid UK driving license is required.

70,000
