Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day care and support to children in a safe, stable, and nurturing environment
Build trusting and positive relationships with children who may find attachment difficult
Encourage and support children to express their wishes, feelings, and identity
Work therapeutically and collaboratively as part of an integrated care team
Promote educational engagement, life skills, and personal development
Communicate clearly and professionally with children, colleagues, and external professionals
What We're Looking For:
Individuals who are emotionally resilient and understand the impact of early life trauma and neglect
Good verbal and written communicators
Flexible team players who can adapt their approach based on the needs of each child
A genuine desire to work in a child-centred and therapeutic way
Experience in a residential childcare setting (essential)
Level 4 Diploma in Working with Children and Young People or willingness to work towards (desired)
A full UK drivers license (essential)
