Be the Difference. Lead with Purpose. Help Rewrite a Child's Story.
Are you a dynamic, compassionate leader ready to make a lasting impact? At Green Tree Children's Home, we're looking for an inspiring Registered Manager to lead our 4-bed Ofsted-registered children's home in Erith, Kent.
This is more than a career move -- it's a powerful opportunity to be a steady presence in a child's life, to guide them toward healing, and to shape a safe, supportive home where they can truly begin to thrive.
We care for children aged 8 to 18 who've faced trauma, neglect, or disrupted placements. Your leadership will provide the stability they need, creating a nurturing environment rooted in trust, therapeutic care, and resilience-building.
Why Choose Green Tree?
Located just minutes from Erith town centre, our home is designed to be a true sanctuary -- not just in structure, but in spirit. Thoughtfully created with children's needs in mind, it features calming spaces, creative areas, and a comforting sense of home. It's where fresh starts happen -- and where your leadership makes them possible.
Your Role Will Include:
Leading the day-to-day operations of the home with confidence and care
Inspiring, developing, and guiding a committed care team to deliver exceptional support
Creating and implementing personalised care plans that support each child's unique journey
Fostering a therapeutic, trauma-informed culture built on empathy and high standards
Building strong partnerships with families, professionals, and external agencies
Driving continuous improvement and aiming for excellence in every Ofsted inspection
What You'll Bring to the Role:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Residential Childcare (or willingness to obtain it)
Proven experience as a Registered or Deputy Manager within an Ofsted-regulated setting
A solid history of successful inspections and team development
Expertise in safeguarding, child protection, and trauma-informed practice
Emotional resilience, clarity in decision-making, and a heart-led approach to leadership
An unwavering focus on what matters most: the wellbeing and future of every child
What We Offer You:
Competitive salary plus performance-based bonus
Enhanced DBS check -- fully funded
Tailored leadership training and ongoing development opportunities
A collaborative, supportive team culture that values your voice
Wellbeing initiatives to support you in and outside of work
A role with true purpose -- where every decision, every day, helps change a child's life
Are You Ready to Lead with Impact?
If you're ready to lead with integrity, compassion, and drive -- and to be part of something truly life-changing -- we'd love to hear from you. Join Green Tree Children's Home and help shape the future, one child at a time.
