Residential Support Workers

Your Role
As a
Residential Support Worker
, you will:
Provide practical and emotional support throughout the day
Help with routines including meals, personal care, education, and activities
Promote independence, positive behaviour, and healthy choices
Act as a keyworker to allocated young people, setting and reviewing personal goals
Build strong, positive relationships through one-to-one and group support
Safeguard and protect young people, following risk assessments and protocols
Support household routines, including cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment
Keep clear, accurate records of progress, incidents, and daily care
Contribute to handovers, team meetings, and reflective practice sessions
Continue learning through training, supervision, and professional development
What You'll Bring
At least 1 year's experience in residential childcare or a similar care setting (preferred)
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, or willingness to work towards it
Compassionate, resilient, and child-focused approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Understanding of safeguarding and trauma-informed care
Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
