Vacancy: Safeguarding Social Worker

Candidate Description:
- qualified social worker (social work degree or other relevant professional qualification)
- HCPC registered
- committed to improving outcomes for children and families
- effective record-keeping skills

- excellent organisational skills
- excellent interpersonal skills
- open to learning and development
- able to promote cooperation and effective working.
Your caseload will include children in need, child in need of protection and \'looked after\' children and you will be central to assessing and planning care requirements, always in accordance with statutory requirements and departmental policies. You will be required to interact with children, families and other professionals and subsequently create non-restrictive care plans, maintain up to date records and ensure service users are involved in the associated decision making.
