The Rectory Fish Bar is a well-loved local chip shop, serving delicious, freshly prepared fish and chips and a range of other tasty options to our fantastic customers. We pride ourselves on quality food and friendly service, and we're looking for a new team member to help us continue our success!

The Role:

We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Chip Shop Assistant to join our busy team. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers have a great experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Serving customers quickly and efficiently, taking orders and handling payments. Preparing and cooking various food items, following hygiene and safety guidelines. Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment, including food preparation areas, serving counters, and general shop premises. Stock rotation and replenishment. Assisting with opening and closing procedures. Providing excellent customer service at all times.

About You:

Previous experience in a fast-food or customer service environment is essential. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player. A good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards. Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
