We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable

Chocolate Machine Operator

with

forklift experience

(for occasional forklift operation), to join our production team. This role plays a key part in ensuring our chocolate products are manufactured and packaged to the highest standards. When needed, you will also assist with warehouse operations, including forklift driving.

Duties may include:

Chocolate Machine Operation:

Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust chocolate machinery, training will be given. Ensure products meet the standard of quality and consistency. Adjust machine setting to accommodate different recipes or production needs. Conduct routine machine maintenance and report any faults or malfunctions. Accurately record production data and maintain batch traceability. Follow all hygiene, allergen control, and safety procedures in accordance with food industry regulations. Perform minor adjustments or preventive maintenance as required. Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment in accordance with food safety standards. Wear appropriate PPE and maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace.

Occasional Forklift Operation:

Safely operate forklifts to transport raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods within the facility. Load and unload deliveries, ensuring accuracy against documentation. Move products to and from production areas as required. Perform daily safety checks on forklift equipment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience operating chocolate or food production machinery preferred. Valid forklift license or certification (counterbalance or reach truck). Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Good understanding of food safety, health & safety, and quality assurance procedures. Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Physically capable of lifting upto 25 kg and standing for long periods. Team player with good communication and time-management skills. Basic mathematical skills Fast-paced food production environment.
