We are currently looking for a

Class 1 Multi Drop Driver

to join our Palletforce team, based out of

Longtown

, working dayshift Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

Delivering a professional and efficient LGV driving service within our Palletforce team, undertaking Multi Drop deliveries and collections in the CA/TD/DG postcode areas. All duties associated with being a professional driver. Comply with all relevant legislation including WTR and Drivers Hours Rules, load security, vehicle weights and dimensions and the Road Traffic Act, ensuring the safety of yourself and other road users at all times. Loading/Unloading and securing loads. Dealing with customers face to face. Keeping in regular contact with transport office team for updates on progress and managing customer's expectations. Cross cover of work within other areas of the business as required.

Requirements

Hold a valid UK Class 1 licence. Hold a current DCPC card and digital tachograph card. Experience preferred but training available for the right candidate.
To be successful in this role you will be a real team player, demonstrating excellent customer service skills and good geographical knowledge.
