24 per week

Contract:

Permanent, Part-Time

Shifts:

8-hour or 10-hour shifts starting from 8:00 AM

Weekends:

Every other weekend

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join The Mountains Care Home. Your work will play a key part in keeping our residents safe, comfortable, and happy in a clean, welcoming environment.

About The Mountains

Located in the beautiful Brecon Beacons, The Mountains is a 50-bed nursing home providing high-quality support for residents living with dementia and mental health needs. Our team is friendly, committed and passionate about creating a warm, homely atmosphere.

Your Role

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining excellent standards of hygiene throughout the home. You will:

Clean residents' bedrooms, bathrooms, and en-suite areas Maintain high standards of cleanliness in communal lounges, corridors, dining rooms and activity spaces Ensure all areas remain clean, presentable, and odour-free Follow infection control procedures to keep residents and staff safe Restock cleaning supplies and report maintenance issues Work sensitively around residents, respecting privacy and dignity at all times

What We're Looking For

? Previous cleaning, housekeeping or domestic experience (care setting ideal, not essential)
? Understanding of infection control or willingness to learn
? Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
? Friendly, approachable, and respectful
? Able to work every other weekend
