Join Our Dynamic Team in the World of Curtain and Blind Design!
We're seeking an enthusiastic, confident, and professional individual to become a valued member of our team. Based in Newark, you'll work directly with the Company Director as a Client Development Executive, supporting admin tasks, managing shop enquiries, and helping to shape our online presence.
Your Day-to-Day Role:
Tuesday - Saturday
Welcome customers to the shop, manage new enquiries, book surveys, and handle initial sales (including deposits and final payments).
Provide excellent customer updates throughout their project journey, maintaining regular check-ins and reassurance.
Act as the Director's administrative aid, taking care of essential tasks like updating spreadsheets and reporting customer and supplier updates.
Take full ownership of our social media platforms
(Facebook, Instagram, and more) - creating content and running campaigns, with creative input from the Director to get you started.
Manage our commercial eBay account and other web-based sales platforms, handling postings and order checks.
Complete end-of-day checklists, ensuring the shop is safe, secure, and ready for the next day.
Liaise with other departments to keep projects moving smoothly and share updates with the Director.
In-House Training Includes:
Learning our extensive fabric library and gaining a broad knowledge of art history and interior design through the ages.
Understanding product options - from Roller Blinds to Shutters, Vertical Blinds to Perfect Fit Blinds.
Mastering our admin and project management systems.
Opportunities for Progression:
Leading pre-booked consultations in the showroom.
Influencing shop design and display.
Taking the lead in using our advertising and marketing budget.
Progressing to project management of your own projects.

Confident, professional, and eager to learn.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team.
Strong communication and admin skills.
Passionate about design and keen to build product knowledge quickly.
