Climbing Instructor
Job Description
Transition Extreme Sports Ltd is currently looking to recruit a number of Climbing Instructors either full or part time. Your role will be to ensure our customers have a safe and enjoyable visit and will involve instruction to climbers of all ages and abilities.
Reporting to the Climbing Wall Manager you will be responsible for assisting in the day to day running operations of the climbing wall and bouldering wall, as well as providing climbing lessons ranging from fun climbing sessions for 5 year old's to teaching adults to belay and everything in between.
You will have excellent communication skills and be a team player with the ability to be flexible working across our range of opening hours, including evenings and weekends.
CWI, CWDI, foundation coach, first aid and more training will be offered if your application is successful.
Essential criteria:
Previous personal experience of indoor climbing
Ability to tie in, belay and catch falls
Experience working with children
To be able to hold a PVG
Desirable:
Previous climbing coaching experience
CWI, CWDI, RCI, RCDI MCI
Coaching awards and qualifications
Previous experience working in a safety focused environment
Child protection training
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
