Ultrasound Direct are a national private medical ultrasound group and are looking to recruit two permanent Clinic Assistants at our Poole clinic on a Casual Worker contract basis. We currently have two vacancies available:

Fridays from 09:00 to 17:00 pm as well as weekends on a rotation basis: week 1 ->Saturday 09:00 to 17:00; week 2 -> Sunday 09:00 to 17:00 and week 3 -> weekend off and then repeating week 1 to week 3. Weekends only on a rotation basis: week 1 -> Saturday 09:00 17:00; week 2 -> Sunday 09:00 to 17:00 and week 3 -> weekend off and then repeating week 1 to week 3
shift start and finish times may vary slightly as some Sonographers may opt to start a little earlier or later than indicated above but the timings above serve as a good indication of hours offered. No prior medical knowledge is required but being phlebotomy trained or completing phlebotomy training, in order to take blood samples is essential and a requirement for the position.

The successful candidate must have a vehicle and be able to travel to our clinic. The role involves being responsible for the effective and efficient functioning of a private ultrasound clinic. Rate of pay is 13.68 per hour for week day hours and 15 per hour for week-end hours.

You need to be reliable, trustworthy, have good interpersonal skills, be organised and know how to operate general office systems. Eligibility to work in the UK is required and DBS (CRB) checks will be undertaken to comply with regulations.
