Denmark Street Dental Practice is looking to employ a full-time Clinic Manager with GDC experience at our Specialist-Led & Fully Private Referral Practice based in Gateshead. This is an exciting and rare opportunity for a serious Clinic Manager, who is looking to progress their career and be part of an established and industry-leading Dental Practice. This position has become available due to the current post holder progressing into a new opportunity within the organisation.
Our practice is well established and is one of the largest referral practices in the North East of England. We proudly provide simple and advanced dental treatments including Implants, Orthodontics, Periodontics and Endodontics as well as General and Cosmetic Dentistry. The location has 5 surgeries, a designated local decontamination room, a patient consultation room and teaching facilities for visiting dentists. The practice is also fully equipped with all digital equipment including SOE Exact practice management software, digital intra-oral x-rays, 3D Intraoral scanners, CBCT, microscope and much more.

Our organisational structure will allow for ample support and training for the successful candidate as we have Senior Managers in Finance, Marketing, Operations, Employee Relations, Patient Experience as well as experienced nurses who can support the successful candidate on a day-to-day basis.
The successful candidate must have proven Clinic Manager experience and should be able to demonstrate an understanding of how to drive growth as well as how to deliver effective day to day financial and operational management. Furthermore, achieving and maintaining full practice compliance, under current CQC requirements, is a key element to the role and therefore the candidate should be able to demonstrate experience in this area.

Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
Staff Management
Leading and motivating team members, frequent meetings, 1-2-1, sickness management, performance management, training delivery, recruitment and inductions, rota management and payroll.
Finance Management
Daily and weekly cash book, stock management, invoice management, associate and lab fee management, budget management, debt management.
Patient Experience Management
Understanding and delivering a 5 star patient journey (referral and non-referral patient journey), feedback and complaints handling.
Premises Management
Practice, equipment and surgery inspections/maintenance, fire risk assessment, health and safety audits.
Compliance Management
Ensuring practice adheres to current compliance regulations, weekly and monthly compliance audits, and provides compliance training to team members.
Production Management
Support growth of practice in patient numbers and private revenue, driving content for social media and website, support and drive marketing activities, diary management, outstanding treatment management.
Infection Control
Adhere to infection control policies and procedures at all times and carry out role specific duties as per roles and responsibilities.
Confidentiality
Adhere to all practice privacy, confidentiality and security policies and procedures.
Freedom of Information
In accordance with the Freedom of Information Act and other associated legislation, the practice may be required to make public recorded information available on request or do this as part of a publication scheme. Please note that your public role, your name or job role may be contained in a document that is published in accordance with such legislation.

Safeguarding children and Vulnerable Adults

Have a minimum basic level I.T skills to enable the use of the practice I.T systems and adhere to all I.T systems and security policies and procedures.
Record Management
To ensure that all records are retained in accordance with the Record Management policy and are stored in a manner that allows them to be easily located in the event of a freedom of information request.
Information Quality
Ensure that complete and accurate data is collected to the highest standard at all times. Data collection should be supported by adequate documentation and processes should be regularly reviewed. Staff should ensure that processes conform to national standards and are fit for purpose. All staff should comply with the information quality policy.

The post-holder will participate in any training programme implemented by the Practice as part of this employment, such training to include:
