Blossom Lodge care home is seeking to employ a qualified, NMC registered RMN nurse who can also work as a clinical lead. The home has a friendly team which provides premium dementia/mental health nursing care for service users with a wide range of needs and also support people under the age of 65.

As the Nurse in charge, you will be responsible for:

Supporting the Home Manager with leading, motivating and developing the staff team.

Supporting the Manager in ensuring that the home is fully compliant with CQC and Local authority regulations.

Stepping up in the absence of another Nurse.

Providing outstanding clinical care to the residents and setting the benchmark standard for excellence for the other nurses within the home.

Supporting the Nursing Staff and Care Staff within the home on the floor.

Take responsibility of the medication and ensure all related information is properly recorded and maintained.

Applicant shall:

Have at least 4 years of experience in nursing in a care home.

Be a qualified RGN or RMN preferably NAPPI trained or trained with some form of restraint.

. A good knowledge of supporting residents with complex dementia needs and mental health backgrounds including challenging behaviors and restrains.

Be friendly and Patient Orientated.

Have a high level of clinical skills and a high attention to detail- Previous experience in a Nursing Home setting is essential.

Successful candidate will be required to provide with a valid, enhanced Disclosure certificate. Please note that we will acknowledge a transferable DBS certificate (Enhanced) and may allow for an immediate start.
